Good to know

  • Payment. There is no prepayment on the campsite: you pay on arrival. For the chalet and the safari tents you pay 30% when you book and the rest 1 week before arrival.
  • Electricity. The first 5 kWh per day are included in the price; using more is possible to a limited extent and can be requested. We can monitor, limit and switch the supply on or off remotely. A high load for a long time (more than 15 minutes), such as air conditioning or heating, is not allowed.
  • Grass. We look after our lawn as well as we can, for you and for the guests after you. Plastic, tarpaulins, tightly woven mats (ground cover fabric) and other materials that smother the grass under awnings and in awning tents are therefore not allowed; a foam rubber tent carpet with openings is. On the shell pitches everything is allowed.
  • Dogs. Dogs are welcome if they are well trained and obedient, on a lead or inside a sheep net. Do not leave your dog alone while you are out on a trip or a bike ride: barking dogs disturb others. Dogs are not allowed in the safari tents.
  • Fire. Because the campsite is green, with many trees, shrubs and natural hedgerows, open fires and charcoal barbecues are not allowed. A gas barbecue or a fully enclosed fire (Cobb) is allowed.
  • Visitors. Visitors are welcome, up to 5 people at a time, from 08:00 until 22:00. If your visitors come by car, they will sometimes park outside the grounds. Always let us know about visitors in advance.
  • General. The full campsite rules are below and you also receive them on arrival. We expect you to respect our rules and not to disturb other guests, but above all to have a wonderful holiday with us.

General campsite rules

The campsite rules for 2027, as you also receive them on arrival.

Read the general campsite rules

A warm welcome to our mini campsite. We wish you a pleasant stay. For reasons of safety, peace, hygiene and liveability, rules are needed that everyone on our campsite must follow. We trust that you will respect and observe these rules.

Arrival/departure

Every camping guest must report to us and register on arrival at the campsite with a caravan, motorhome, folding camper and/or tent, and check out before or on departure.

Pitches

The pitches are available from 14.00 and you must leave your pitch before 11.00 on the day of departure. For a later departure, half a night is charged.

Toilet block

The campsite has a toilet block, which may be used in accordance with the instructions displayed in it. […]

Parking

Park your car in the car park at the front by the road. You may only drive to your pitch to load and unload on arrival and/or departure. Drive at walking pace (10 km/h at most) and only along the marked route.

Guests

If you receive guests on the campsite, you must tell us in advance. If you want your guests to stay overnight in your caravan, static caravan, motorhome, folding camper and/or tent, you need permission for this. Once permission is given, your guests pay the overnight rate. You must make sure your guests know the content of these general campsite rules and of any special rules that apply.

Night-time quiet

Between 23:00 and 07:00 you must respect the night-time quiet on the campsite and act accordingly. During this time it is forbidden to make noise in any form that may disturb the peace.

Pets

Pets are welcome, provided they do not disturb other guests. No pets are allowed in the safari tents. They must always be on a lead, and dogs must be walked outside the campsite. If your dog should happen to relieve itself on the campsite, you are obliged to clean it up. You may not have more than 2 pets on one pitch.

Waste

Everyone on the campsite must keep the campsite clean and undamaged. All waste, without exception, must be put in the bins provided for it at the front of the campsite. You must separate your waste and keep it as compact as possible. Store any waste on your pitch properly, to keep the risk of vermin as low as possible.

Bulky waste, garden waste or any waste other than household waste, or waste that does not fit in the bins, you must take away yourself.

Structures

Putting up or erecting structures, whether or not the authorities would allow it, is only permitted once permission has been given for it. The term structures is to be understood in the widest sense.

Nuisance

It is not allowed:

  • to light open fires;
  • to leave burning candles unattended;
  • to barbecue, with gas or an enclosed fire pot only, when this causes hindrance or nuisance to others, at the sole discretion of the campsite owner;
  • to behave in such a way that others, including the campsite owner, are hindered or disturbed by it;
  • to let cats and/or dogs roam free;
  • to dig holes or trenches;
  • to park cars on or near the pitches;
  • to wash cars;
  • to enter the plot of another guest or of the campsite owner without permission;
  • to damage plants in any way;
  • to use alcohol and/or drugs to excess;
  • to use electrical equipment that disturbs others.

Parcels

You may not have parcels delivered to or collected from the campsite address. For deliveries and collections you can use the parcel pick-up & drop-off points nearby.

Liability

Your stay on our mini campsite is entirely at your own risk.

The owner of the campsite is not responsible for theft, damage, injury and/or accidents to people, animals and/or your belongings caused during or as a result of a stay on the campsite.

Payment

If you have not paid in advance, you must settle your payment on arrival. Any extra costs must be settled on the day before departure.

Compliance with the rules

You are obliged to comply with these rules, as well as with any special rules that apply. The campsite owner may add to or change the rules at any time.

If the campsite owner considers that the rules are not being complied with, you will receive a warning. After two warnings the campsite owner is entitled, in the interest of the campsite as a whole, to refuse you access to the campsite, and you must leave the campsite with your camping unit. The agreement is then terminated, without any right to a refund of the pitch fee. If you refuse to leave the campsite, the campsite owner is entitled to remove the camping unit at your expense and risk, with a claim to full compensation.

Applicable law

These rules, and the additional rules for permanent and seasonal pitches, are governed by Dutch law. The court in Middelburg has jurisdiction over any disputes.

We wish you a pleasant stay.
